Greeting Cards

We offer a cost-effective solution to the printing of Greetings Cards.  With short runs that are economical, digital print offers all publishers, new and established, the flexibility to produce new ranges without the upfront cost.

Digital print has also changed the way card retailers buy in their stock. It has enabled them to have a wider choice and to buy in new and more varied cards more often.

Other advantages of printing digitally include:

  • Quicker turnaround

  • Shorter print runs

  • Lower set up costs

  • New designs can be introduced without any financial risk and enable stockless supply

  • Amending existing designs, such as adding a barcode, between print runs are simple and incur no extra cost

  • Digital printing is more environmentally friendly than traditional printing.

Card publishers can choose from a wide variety of stocks and we also offer a wide range of finishing including Folding, Gluing, Attaching, Collating, Packing and those listed below.

Die cutting
Die cutting is the process that cuts out non-square shapes from cards using a die cutter. A die cutter is a wooden block which has blades bent to the required design housed in the surface of the wood.

Embossing / debossing
A process of creating a three-dimensional image or design in card using a metal die stamp. In layman's terms embossing pushes up the image in the board so that it is raised from the surface and can be felt to the touch. Debossing does the opposite and pushes down the image.

Foiling
Want to make your cards shine out from the crowd, then we can also foil block them. A metal die is stamped on to the foil, making it adhere to the surface of the card. Foils are available in a variety of finishes, including metallic, gloss, matt and satin. Along with standard gold and silver, you can choose from many other colours.

White ink
Our digital printer can print white ink onto coloured or recycled board.
